Care Instructions

Caring for your candle

Trim the wick

Before each use, trim the candlewick to about 6mm to prevent excessive smoking and soot buildup. This helps the candle burn more evenly and reduces the risk of uneven melting.

The first burn matters

When lighting a new candle for the first time, let it burn long enough to create a full melt pool that reaches the edges of the container. This prevents tunneling and ensures a longer-lasting candle.

Avoid drafty areas

Avoid placing your candle in drafty areas as it can lead to uneven burning. Drafts may cause the flame to flicker excessively, leading to uneven melting and reduced burn time.

Avoid overburning

Never burn a candle all the way to the bottom. Extinguish the flame when there's about 1.3 cm of wax remaining to prevent overheating the container.

Safe storage

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to maintain their quality.

Keep Away from Children and Pets

Place candles out of reach of children and pets for safety. Consider flameless options if needed.

Placement matters

When setting up your reed diffuser, choose the location carefully. For the best scent dispersion, place it in a central area with good air circulation. Avoid placing it near air conditioning vents, fans, or open windows, as the airflow can cause the fragrance to dissipate more quickly.

Rotate reeds

The reeds in your diffuser play a crucial role in releasing the fragrance into the air. To maintain a consistent scent throw, gently rotate the reeds every week or two. This helps to prevent the reeds from becoming clogged and ensures a steady diffusion of the fragrance.

Extend the lifespan

To extend the life of your reed diffuser and make the fragrance last longer, keep it away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Heat can cause the liquid to evaporate more quickly, reducing the overall lifespan of the diffuser. Also, ensure that the reed sticks don't touch any delicate surfaces or materials, as the scented liquid might leave stains.

Keep away from children and pets

Place reed diffusers out of reach of children and pets for safety.
