How do you make the 'I used to be' candles?

We collect bottles from friends, families and companies.  We hand cut, sand and polish our bottles to create candle holders.

This means that your candle holder may have slight bumps, scratches or unevenness as we do it all by hand.

Why does my 'honey bee mine' candle have black specs?

We use only 100% Australian natural bees wax.  This means that some of the sediment and impurities from the wax may be melted when creating your candle.

How is Brighton Candle Co. candles better than candles sold in major retailers? 

Our candles are hand poured and made in small batches.  We use sustainable methods including solar power to create our candles, upcycled, recycled containers and where possible recycled sustainable materials.

We have a high fragrance / wax ratio to ensure your candle can be smelt and experienced in any room.

Why does the colour of my candle vary from pictures on your website?

Our candles are hand poured which means every batch of candles we create can vary.

How do I look after my candle, diffuser and room spray?

We have developed care instructions to make the most of your candle, diffuser or room spray.  

What shipping company do you use?

We use Sendle - 100% carbon neutral shipping service.  Currently we only ship to Australia.

Do you offer "Click n collect'?

We offer 'Click n collect' for Adelaide customers only.  We have two collection points, Brighton South and Glengowrie.

Can I refill my container or a used candle container?

This service is available to our Adelaide customers only.  Simply order a refill online, nominate your fragrance and drop off your clean container to us.

What payment options do you have?

You can pay for your order by Paypal, VISA and Mastercard.
